If you’ve ever used a manual to assemble furniture or fix an appliance, you know how critical, clear and concise instructions can be. To rebuild engines, mechanics remove them from the car to disassemble the unit, inspect its components, and clean the parts. Everything that has any potential wear is replaced to bring the engine back to its original standards. Anything that isn’t replaced is remanufactured to the standards of a new part.
